2007 Christmas "Letter"

Merry Christmas Family and Friends!

Don't you just love the "eWorld"! Sorry for the lack of a personal update and letter to all of you but it was either the simple picture card (with the "link" directing you here) or nothing (which has been the case for the past few years and we are very sorry). Please do us a huge favor; we want to know if anyone actually reads this! So, either leave a comment with your name and a quick word or send us a quick e-mail to say hello! Also, Zach and Erin are both on FaceBook and Zach is on MySpace (not often). E-mail addresses are zwaters@sbuniv.edu and ewaters@sbuniv.edu.

I will be honest, this "Christmas Letter" may be a work in progress since we are heading out to New Mexico for Christmas in the next few hours and I might not have much time before we get there to really write and update people as to what is going on in the lives of Zach, Erin, Brynley and Sydney! I wanted to write a quick something for those of you who get the card early. If this is short when you read it, check back in a few days for the real deal!

For those of you who are better than I and would know exactly what Philippians 2:5-11 says without having to get out the Word, isn't that what it is all about! For those of you who are like me and probably read the reference to scripture, guessed it contained some Christmas verses and did not take the time to look it up, here you go!

"Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." - Philippians 2:5-11

If nothing else, we hope you read the above verses slowly and take them to heart. That would mean the most to us for Christmas.

If you are interested, check back in a few days to get more on:

Where are we? (Bolivar, MO)
What are we doing? (Working for SBU)
How are the girls? (Beautiful and time consuming)
And Everything else . . . .

Again, Merry Christmas! May God bless you and keep you and we look forward to keeping in touch!

We will see!

So, this is my first "blog" . . . we will see how I do with this.  What in the world am I doing starting a blog?  Well, I was inspired by Dr. Reeves' blog and wanted to be able to respond or post so here I am.
